For non-Xtreme models we convert the shaft to eliminate the double cardan. The original design from GM is heavy and prone to failure. Our conversion shaft eliminates unnecessary weight from the driveline reducing strain on components and eliminating several points of failure. Our design is maintenance free.

These are for the extended cab regular bed V6.

Please note: the OEM Ujoint manufacturer recommends the grease fittings be lubed every 2,000 - 3,000 miles or ever month. You must also grease the CV.

This is the Ultimate Conversion for Xtreme S-10s
The CV from the factory uses a bushing that wears out. Decades of driveshaft experience tells us that bushings are inferior to needle bearing designs.
This Spicer needle bearing conversion is for S-10 Xtreme owners that are tried of replacing their driveshafts all the time.
